This piece is part of my ongoing Religious series, which portrays inspiring figures from the Bible. Mary Magdalene is considered a saint, and during the Middle Ages she became one of the most revered figures in Christian devotion. In this work, the concept is to present her offering herself to Jesus Christ with a sense of dignity, humility, and quiet strength. It is her spiritual presence — rather than spectacle — that guides the emotional tone of this piece.

This print faithfully reproduces the depth and atmosphere of the original painting and has been carefully finished to preserve its richness and luminosity.
